Our Mission
Pretty JSON Viewer was created to solve a simple problem: JSON data is everywhere, but most tools for working with it are either bloated, privacy-invasive, or frustrating to use. We set out to build the best free online JSON viewer, editor, and beautifier — one that's fast, private, and genuinely useful for day-to-day development work.
Every feature in this tool is designed with a single goal: make it as easy as possible to explore, understand, and modify JSON data. Why We Built It
As developers, we found ourselves constantly reaching for JSON tools during our daily work. The existing options were disappointing. Some required uploading data to external servers — a non-starter for sensitive information. Others were cluttered with ads or locked essential features behind paywalls. Many offered only a bare-bones tree view with no editing capability.
We wanted a tool that we'd actually use ourselves: clean interface, powerful editing, full privacy, and absolutely no cost. So we built it.
